Brazier (furo) and kettle (kama, binkake, tetsubine) for heating water during tea ceremony. Brazier 9" tall x 14" diameter Kettle 5 1/4" tall x 8" diameter.

Made in Japan in an era. Of high craftsmanship and artistry. This is from a collection of New Old Stock Japanese art works.

From a Japanese store in "Little Tokyo" Los Angeles, CA, that closed in 1971. And has been in storage ever since until now. These are the last of these I have, so these have been going really fast. If you like it don't.
