The La Pluma design was then etched into the glaze creating the negative space through which the terracotta appears. The inside of the cups have birds, flowers and a farm scenes etched with the same technique. Circa 1940's the complete set is signed Alfareria Jimenez Zaragoza #13 Oaxaca Mexico Pluma Hecho a Mano. The teapot is approximately 6.25" high including the lid and about 8" wide from the handle to the tip of the spout.
The tea cup is 2.5" high and about 5.5" wide, the saucer is approximately 6 in diameter. The saucers show a tiny bit of variety in size due to the handmade. The creamer is approximately 4" high and the sugar bowl is about 5.5" high. Amazing condition for its age, all rims and edges pristine. One small chip to glaze on creamer, please see photos.
