Tuscan Art Deco Purple Gold English Bone China Tea Set Coffee Pot Hot Water Jug

  
For your consideration, a gorgeous and very rare Plant Tuscan (pre-Tuscan) bone china tea set. It was made in the mid 1930's by R H & S L Plant LTD. It consists of 1 teapot, 1 hot water jug, 3 cups, 6 saucers, 5 plates, 1 cake plate and a cream/sugar set.

All pieces are the classic Tuscan pale pink color but have a unique and not-often seen purple and gold design to them. As I mentioned, every piece is art deco shaped when it comes to the handles and paneled shapes. All pieces are in great vintage condition.

There are no cracks or crazing on anything - the only flaw is there is a very small flat chip on the side of the creamer spout. I completely mistook it for gold loss at first. This is outlined in the photos. It is not a chunk taken out of it- it is pretty flat.

It is a flaw that can be hidden by turning the creamer the other way. One for cups and cream/sugar, one for cake plate, side plates and saucers and last one for hot water jug and tea pot.
