Description: A stunning George VI solid sterling silver tea pot set with sugar bowl and milk cream jug by Walker & Hall dated for 1945 and assay for Sheffield. The tea pot set comes in a superb Art Deco shaped body, having a plain round tapering bodies with a stepped circular shaped pedestal base. With the tea pot having a wooden handle and the milk cream jug and sugar bowl having a very unusual Art Deco shaped handles. The teapot comes with a wonderful Art Deco shaped fitted spout. Its fitted with a hinged lid and protruding finial to the lid for opening.

The teapot, milk cream jug and sugar bowl have a plain body with no engraved presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms, crests or anything erased. A wonderful addition to your collection or is ready to be used. Length of teapot 26.5 cm, diameter across lid 15 cm and base 9.6 cm and height 16 cm. Sugar bowl height 8.3 cm, diameter across top 9.6 cm and base 6.4 cm. Milk cream jug height 9.6 cm, diameter across top 8 cm and base 5.6 cm (Not including the handles in diameter measurements).

Condition: The condition is excellent. The teapot only has a small dent to the rim of the top border but has no nasty dents, dings, holes, splits, knocks or repairs. The milk cream jug and sugar bowl are to in excellent condition with no dents, dings, holes, splits, knocks or repairs. The teapot, milk cream jug and sugar bowl just have some light surface marks from use but nothing bad or anything which is too noticeable just general wear.

The handle to the teapot is fitted and tightly with no play. The lid of the teapot opens and closes just as it should with no issues. No out off shape top or bottom rims they stand very well with no wobble.

The spout of the teapot is in excellent condition. The interior of the teapot does show signs of use. The english sterling silver hallmarks to the teapot, milk cream jug and sugar bowl are all very readable, clear and all matching up correctly. No engraved presentation inscriptions, monograms, initials, crests or anything erased. Overall a very delightful teapot set in a superb shaped body which is ready to be added to your collection or is ready to be used. Any strange marks in pictures are reflections not damage.
