Sebastiano Buscetta Tea Service MEXIKANA Ortenburg Tambach 1950s Black Yellow
Up for your consideration is this tea service designed by Sebastiano Bruscetta in the 1950s. It features nice, bright colors of black and yellow in a striped pattern titled Mexikana. Bottom is marked with Tambach mark, hand painted, and model number with the number 7700, which I believe is the artist's identification. Set consists of tea pot with lid and strainer, sugar bowl, creamer, 2 cups, and 2 snack trays. Teapot measures 5 inches tall to the top of the lid, about 6 inches across the widest point, holds 2 cups. Snack trays are 13 by 7 inches. Cups are 4 inches in diameter, excluding handles.
Set weighs about 4.5 pounds. In good condition with nice bright colors, no cracks. There are small chips on the tea pot spout, ends of the snack trays, and sugar bowl.
I photographed these next to a penny for scale. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Kitchen & Home\Dinnerware & Serveware\Teapots & Tea Sets".
