Rudolph Wachter was a German porcelain decorator and manufacture. Wächter founded his own porcelain decorating business in 1893 in Hüttensteinach, Germany. He later became technical director of Wächter & Furbringer, eventually taking over the company and renaming it Rudolf Wächter Porzellanmanufaktury. His work is often found on antique and vintage porcelain pieces, particularly from Bavaria, Germany. This exquisite set consists of tea pot, sugar bowl & creamer.
Tea pot is 10.25" tall with lid, 8" without and 10 wide. Sugar bowl is 5" tall with lid, 6.25" across handle to handle.
Creamer is 4.75" tall and 5.25" wide. All pieces are hallmarked RW, and #48 which I would imagine is the model#. Sugar bowl opening appears wider and was chipped inside the rim. You cannot see this with the lid on it. It's still perfectly functional to use and if it's just displayed can't see at all.
