Rare Red on White Lotus Cathrineholm Enamel Tea Kettle

  
Very rare Christmas Red on White Cathrineholm tea kettle. This is the lotus pattern, designed by Arne Clausen from the 1960s.

This piece is beautiful and looks amazing in any setting, whether it be on your stove top, as a plant holder, or a book end on your bookshelf. Because the interior isn't as smooth as it once was, using it as a kettle may not be optimal anymore. Some things worth noting: - This kettle is unmarked.

Maybe it was at one point, but has been stripped. The handle has pieces missing. There is some chalkiness on the inside, but for the most part, very little staining compared to others. There is a line in the outer enamel near the bottom of the spout. See picture 3, left side.

The bottom has normal wear, not in perfect looking condition. Not completely black though either. The joints that hold the handle are a bit dirty and have the enamel scraped off.
