A stunning, one of a kind tea service set including a lidded teapot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer and under plate handcrafted and signed by a single artist, L. The focal point of this unnamed pattern is a vine of russet poppies on a yellow sponged background surrounded by a border of deep blue leaves. The balance of the pattern is blue and dark blue flowers surrounded by more blue.

In Poland, when an artist becomes exceptional at their craft, they are then permitted to complete each piece from start to finish and sign them. They determine the pattern and colors they use, cut their patterns from sponges, and create one of a kind pieces. These pieces are referred to as unikat, which translated to English is unique.

One last fun fact: when the heat escape was created (see last photo,) the tiny piece fell inside the walls of the teapot, making a tiny rattle when shaken! Measurements: (height, width from handle to handle or handle to spout, diameter; capacity).
