One Very Collectable Decorative Collectable Large Paul Cardew Royal Albert Teapot with lid! Paul Cardew's genius is evident in this very unique piece! This is a Wonderful find in this condition! Out of the many Paul Cardew teapots created this is one of my favorites, because the detail in the main body of the piece is far better than any picture! The rocks are raised and makes me want to touch them! The base of has the look interesting brick work. It's a flutback fireplace and give the feeling of comfort we all find by a fireplace.

I have provided you with close ups of this lovely Teapot, so you might be able to see close up the detail with the mantle clock, and an open book! Life doesn't get much better than a nice comfy chair, a good book, a cup of coffee, next to a fireplace on a cold winters night. Paul understood what we feel and expressed it in his pieces. Each teapot is hand decorated, so no two are exactly the same! This teapot was manufacture by license from Paul Cardew, therefore it's actual location of manufacture while beginning in the U.

Could have been made in a number of countries. From creation to present, the demand for Paul Cardew teapots has grown! Greatly admired, dearly loved, and rise in value year after year.

These are decorative pieces, not for human consumption, and make Great display pieces for any home! Many Paul Cardew teapots are crazed over the entire surface, while some have no crazing at all, and then others have some on specific areas.

This one is free of any crazing! It is accented in Royal Albert pattern of'old Country Roses' which has been a favorite pattern since Victoria's time. The pattern was named after her beloved Albert, which she mourned his death until her own. His personal rooms where kept the exact the same way they were the day of his death until her death, and nothing was to be out of place! It is an artistic work that will last for generations to enjoy!

The Teapot stands approximately 6 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide, and 2 7/8 deep. Not every piece is worth the same, and I price accordingly based on condition. I love it and it was very hard to find in this condition, but life has intervened, and it must go! Note: The bright white in photos is reflection of flash. I spend a great deal of time trying to list accurately, and take necessary photo documentation. I absolutely hate receiving damaged items myself, so rest assured your item will arrive properly packaged and packed in appropriate packing material!
