Nippon Coffee Tea Pot 6 Cups Cream and Sugar Bowl Jonroth Studio Hand Painted
Chocolate pot or Coffee pot, six cups, and a cream pitcher and sugar bowl all hand-painted plated by Jonroth studios for Nippon, circa. 1920's - 1930's in Nippon Japan.
Rare and highly collectible, these are exquisite pieces. This listing is for 9 pieces. 1 - 9.5 t pot with no chips or cracks. 6 - cups each approx.
X 2.5 tall, one cup has fleabite chip in rim, and one other has tiny fleabite chip on rim and crack in base and has been repaired (see photos). Other 4 no chips or cracks. 1 - cream pitcher 2.75"t x 3.25" dia. 1 - Sugar bowl has a broken handle but I didn't want to break up the set. Paint is normal vintage with some loss / fading discoloring and showing the irregularities in painting expected in these pieces. No attempt has been made to clean them for fear of damage.
