LOVELY ANTIQUE FRENCH STERLING SILVER TEA SET OF 3 PIECES ROCOCO STYLE. Noblesse Collection propose you through the photos which follow this spectacular 3 pieces set richly decorated in a Louis XV style and made in the 1880s. The " Rocaille " style was very fashionable in France at the end of the XIXth century. Intended to the Parisian upper middle class, this set is a high end making.

Observe in particular the quality of manufacturing of handles and spout finely carved of twisted foliages. Each piece is decorated on its paunch of medallions on both faces. Richly decorated with flowers and foliages.

Every piece bases on four feet of asymmetric shape. Inside of the sugar bowl is in Vermeil (fine 18k gold layer on silver). Lovely set made by a great Parisian silversmith of the XIXth century Henri SOUFFLOT dating more than 130 years old and arriving to us nowadays in excellent condition! This set consists of 3 pieces. A tea pot : weight : 640 grams 20,57 troy oz Height : 20,8 cms 8,19 inches.

A sugar bowl : weight : 512 grams 16,46 troy oz Height : 17,2 cms 6,77 inches. A creamer : weight : 245 grams 7,87 troy oz Height : 13,7 cms 5,39 inches.

All pieces and lids are stamped with the French Minerve 1st Standard mark (950/1000). All pieces and lids are stamped with the maker's mark : Henri SOUFFLOT. He practiced from 1884 till 1910 in Paris, 89 rue de Turbigo. In perfect condition : Completely checked and cleaned by our silversmith. No dent, no distortion, no sinking. Lids and handles perfectly fixed. (An "antique statement" of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice). Noblesse Collection is based in Le Mans in France. The firm is specialized in antique silverware, more especially French one belonging to the. 19th and the 20th century.
