GKC Bavaria Gold-Gilded, White Floral Complete 15 pc Tea Set

  

A vintage German Gareis, Kuhnl & Co. Tea set, complete with the teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, teacups and their matching saucers. On sculpted white porcelain are gorgeous floral designs and gilded gold on each piece. Each piece are stamped under the bases.

These pieces come from the collection of my dear friend's mother. She was an art historian by training and had a keen eye for beauty and quality.

She collected many types of things----parts of her collections were featured in museum shows that traveled across America. She was a third generation Californian and some of her collection would have come from family.

I do not know the history of individual pieces but I do know that they were lovingly curated and cared for by her as a collection. Her beautiful bottles are now ready to be passed on to others who will love them as much as she did. Feel free to message us any questions or offers!
