Please note, green glass goblet in background on several pics is only there to show spout, and is not included, thanks! 1 Demitasse style Coffee Pot (or tall teapot) With crocus "Flower Handle" Lid 1 Open Sugar (as intended, there is no rim for a lid) 1 Creamer 6 Cups 6 Saucers Beloved Pattern of Hollyhocks, in a full set! Pale English Blue handles, embellishments, and interior cup'fill lines'.
The blue handles on both Pot & Creamer both have deco chevrons Scalloped rims with Gold Trim, really lovely with that beautiful blue. This, the very early version of this pattern, which has that enchanting upper border of what looks likeish Moss dripping as a frame to the flowers below...(some later versions just have upside down yellow flowers, instead) Hollyhocks themselves, spring from a green rocky outcropping. Two insignificant microscopic items to mention, after thorough scrutiny; Teensy micro spot to rim of 1 cup had a factory clay nub, (pinpoint nub) caught the gold funny. One (again, very teensy) spot rub wear to gold on creamer, again, PINPOINT sized!
Measurements: Tall Deco Pot measures just under 7.5" height w/Flower Knob Lid, Approx 7.75" across Spout to Handle Sugar is 1.75" ht Creamer approx 3" ht Saucers are just under 4.75" diameter (made using metric :) Cups are 2.25" ht x hair under 3" diameter bowl, 3.5" across including handle. So lovely for a set this old, must have been a display set most of its life! Has been a part of my own collection, for several years now.. Much careful packing with a great deal of materials was necessary for safe transit, which pushes the weight up, of course. The set has been divided into 4 individual boxes, then each padded again within their large, double walled very HEAVY DUTY outer box.So much safer for this antique set. Full packed weight is over 10pounds.
