Aynsley Soft Green Floral 22piece Tea Set with Matching Teapot & Water Jug

  

Matching Teapot & Water Jug. On offer is this lovely and pretty 22piece tea set produced by Aynsley. All pieces have a backstamp for the c1939.

My photos do not do any justice to this stunning and pretty set. Decorated on a soft green background are these pretty light grey and white flowers with a yellow centre and grey foliage. The set features a raised embossed cabbage leaf design to each piece. The rims to the cake plate, side plates, saucers , milk jugs and sugar bowl are scalloped.

All rims and handles to the set have a lovely gold trim trim. Each pieces ring when lightly tapped. 1 small tea pot that measures approximately from spout to handle 20cms and rim to rim is 8cms at the narrowest point and approximately 14cms in width and 12cms in height from the base to the finial. 1 small water jug that measures approximately from lip to handle 11cms and rim to rim is 6.5cms at the narrowest point and approximately 13.5cms in height from the base to the finial. 1 large cake plates measure approximately 22.5cms in diameter. 1 large milk jug that measures approximately from lip to handle 13cms and rim to rim is 6.5cms at the narrowest point and approximately 7cms in height at the lowest point. 1 large sugar bowl that measures approximately rim to rim 11cms and is approximately 6cms in height. 1 small milk/cream jug that measures approximately from lip to handle 9cms and rim to rim is 4.75cms at the narrowest point and approximately 5.5cms in height at the lowest point. 1 small sugar bowl that measures approximately rim to rim 7.5cms and is approximately 5cms in height.

5 cup measures from rim to handle approximately 10.5cms and rim to rim 8cms and 6.5cms in height. 5 saucer measures approximately 14cms in diameter.

5 side plate measures approximately 15.5cms diameter. This would make a superb addition to any china collection or grace any tea party. Please view all photos as this is part of the description/condition and excuse any camera glare. The set is in very good condition. The gold trim is in very good condition showing hardly any wear. The set has a few very tiny ash/manufacturing imperfections and has been mentioned accuracy.

This does not take away any beauty from this stunning and pretty set. There are no chips, colour/pattern loss, cracks or restoration and no apparent crazing present. My china is pre-loved and may show signs of use, firing specks, ash, glaze bubbles, kiln marks, imperfections and minor wear.
