Antique STERLING SILVER 6878 3pc Coffee Tea Pot Creamer Pitcher Sugar Bowl Set

  
Acquired at an estate sale in the Hamptons on Long Island is this three (3) piece set of sterling silver coffee tea service: pot, creamer pitcher and sugar bowl with lid. Hallmarks on all three: STERLING 6878.

Also on the creamer pitcher is 1 Pint and on the pot is 3 PTS. Two bone rings on the pot handle. When I acquired this set I polished it; there is some small areas of tarnish. Monogram on one side on each of the three pieces see photos.

There are very small dimples that are difficult to photograph and see. On a postal scale all three pieces weight 3 pounds and 9.25 ounces. Pot: 11 inches tall, 9 inches tall at the spout, 9.75 inches tall at the handle, 9.5 inches from the handle to the spout, 4 inches wide, opening on top is about 3 inches by 2.5 inches and the base bottom is 3.5 inches by 4.25 inches. The creamer pitcher is 7 inches tall at the handle and 6.75 inches tall at the spout, 5 inches from the handle to the spout, 3 inches wide and the base bottom is 2.5 inches by 3.25 inches. The sugar bowl with lid is 7.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches tall to the center of the bowl, 4.75 inches tall on the sides of the bowl, bowl is 5.5 inches long and 4 inches wide, opening is about 4 inches by 3 inches and the base bottom is 3.5 inches by 2.75 inches.
