Antique Spode English Porcelain early 19th Century Tea Set Teapot Pattern #1839. Offered for sale is an outstanding teaset with teapot and its undertray, sugar, creamer, waste bowl, a large shallow bowl and 8 cup and saucer trio sets.
It's in superb condition especially considering it's age. I believe this is unmarked Spode with a production date of about 1812.
The teapot has a minor interior small spider line that does break the exterior glaze and it also has a minor tight line in one corner that does break the exterior glaze but does not break the glaze at the top of the rim. One cup has a chip to the edge and one cup has a glaze spider with a little associated discoloration on the exterior only.
The interior colors in the lower half of the waste bowl have some deterioration, but this set is otherwise fine. You will find some varying degrees of gold wear but overall the set is extremely clean and free from major wear. It's as nice as you could ever expect to find... The teapot measures about 11" handle to spout, 5&1/2" to the top of the finial, cups and saucers are 5&1/2" across, 2&1/2" deep. All items are guaranteed as described.
