Antique Silver Plated Turton Tea Set Hand Chased Tilting Tea Pot 19th Century

  
This is for a Very Unique and Rare Antique (19th century) Silver plated Tea Set from John Turton. It is styled with highly decorated Victorian Gothic detailing through out the pieces from the spouts to the feet. The set consists of a Tea pot on a stand for tilting, a warmer, a footed coffee pot, footed tea pot along with the matching creamer and lidded sugar bowl. It is marked with makers marks of J / T / S, made in Sheffield England and Hand Chased E. These pieces all have a lovely flower final, to a bird poring spout, fan styled feet, gothic male face on the spouts, intact ceramic spacers, highly decorated handles to floral and leave high relief decorations. I paired this set with a wonderful silver plated tray that is also highly decorated from Webster Wilcox, International Silver in pattern 2882. The set needed a perfect tray to show off the glory of the tea set and large enough to hold all the pieces. This set is amazingly detailed and dates to the years. The pieces are all in wonderful condition and this set will make for a lovely collector set to also use for many more years to come. This set is so impressive and the pictures don't do it justice!

1 - Warmer 3 Diameter. 1 - Tilting Tea Pot (on stand) measures: 13.5 inches tall x 9 inches wide x 8 inches.

1 - Footed Tea Pot measures: 8 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 7 inches deep. 1 - Footed Coffee Pot measures: 10 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 6 inched deep. 1 - Creamer 5.5 inches measures: tall x 5.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep. 1 - Sugar Bowl measures: with lid 5.5 inches tall x 7 inches wide x 4.5 inches deep.

All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible.

I STRONGLY believe in reusing and repurposing of mailing materials, thus your item maybe packed in a previously used box and/or wrapped with previously used materials.
