Antique Set Footed Teapot/Sugar/Creamer/Pitcher & 4 Cups/Saucers HAND PAINTED

  

Here we have an absolutely GORGEOUS Footed Teapot, Sugar, Creamer, Pitcher & 4 Cups and Saucers that are HAND PAINTED with WONDERFULLY COLORFUL FLOWERS and the set is signed on the 4 saucers! I think they are signed Giesshuer or Giesshucbi, and the Roman Numerals XX VIII.

It is impressed into the saucer backs. The other matching items are not signed. All I know is that this set is FANTASTIC! Flowers are BRIGHT and colors are just BRILLIANT!

They are pinks, blues, greens, orange, purple, yellow, gray, white on a maroon background with TONS OF GOLD PLATE! The knobs on the teapot and sugar bowl are pointy and gold plated too. The set measures as follows. Teapot with Lid 9 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" wide and 6 deep.

Large Creamer 7 5/8" tall, 6 3/4" wide and 5 deep. Sugar with Lid 5" tall 6 1/2" handle to handle and 5 1/2 deep. 4 Cups 2 5/8" tall, 4 1/8" rim to handle and 3 1/2 deep.

4 Saucers 7/8" tall, 6 1/8" diameter. Condition is great with no breaks or chips. Some crazing to the bottom of one saucer and 3 small hairlines also to the bottom of a saucer.

Some light wear on the bottoms. Some gold plate wear but not bad. Some gold plate wear, some on handles and on the cup inside, on the wide gold plated line, which you can see in the last photo.

Teapot rocks a wee bit. SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER SEEN in 45 years of dealing with antiques! Please see my other auctions for more BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE items!
