Antique Pewter Clad Yixing 4 Pc. Tea Set, YEE DZU Mark, Circa 1900
Wonderful antique Chinese Pewter Overlay 4 Piece Tea Set Offered for sale. Marked individually on the underside by Yee Dzu Ching from Chefoo N China.
This set is unglazed Yixing stoneware decorated with pewter overlay. It is decorated with dragons and other Chinese motifs. On the jug, the dragons are chasing a flaming pearl for example.
The tea pot measures 3.75" high and 6.75", wide with the other items in proportion. Condition seems to be very good with a glued minor chip on the inside of the lid of the creamer, please see photos. More than happy to provide further information on this or indeed more photos.
