NAGOYA SHOFU NIPPON TEA SET. A nice set, over 100 years old. Golden gilding has some light moriage. There are some light signs of use over this time period. Tea Pot, Creamer, and Sugar Bowl are a heavier porcelain, whereas the Cups and Saucers are thinner. All pieces have some individual characteristics, bumps, glazing marks, different tones and such. This being said, other than a chipped saucer, these pieces are crack free! Tea Pot measures 8 1/2 across spout to handle. A Cup is 4 1/2 across including the handle. Some pieces have minor rub/wear marks here and there. There are only 4 Saucers and one of those has an edge chip. The Saucer in the lower right corner shows this in it's 7pm position.
