Antique KPM Blue Sceptre Mark Gold Enameld Tea Cups From Polly Bergen Estate
FROM HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS POLLY BERGEN'S ESTATE. For sale is a set of 5 outstanding Berlin KPM gold enameled tea cups and saucers with the underglazed blue sceptre mark. There is one additional saucer in the set. These are in excellent condition with only age appropriate wear to partial areas if the saucers where the tea cup bottom would touch. They came from the sale of legendary Hollywood actress Polly Bergen's estate. The saucers have the old KPM Berlin blue Scepter mark underglaze on the bottom. The teacups are gold enamel on the bottom with no markings. They are a matching set. They have a stamp underneath which we cannot make out. The Applebrooke Estate company in Connecticut held a sale of Polly Bergen's estate items and this set was part of that sale. Tea Cup(5) - 2 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" wide. Saucer(6) - 5 wide.
