Antique HP FINE China Tea Set -Tea Pot, Sugar, Creamer 12 Cups/Saucers Chintz

  

This is just a FANTASTIC antique tea set!! I can't believe it but it looks to be HAND PAINTED and on a GOLD PLATED BACKGROUND! GORGEOUS VIBRANT COLOR FLOWERS abound on each piece! Can you even imagine the patience it took to paint each piece?

A friend of mine said that this may be the English Chintz pattern but I have not seen that hand painted as this set is, but I don't know. Also all handles and knobs on tea pot and sugar are GOLD PLATED too! It is such a FINE EGGSHELL CHINA THAT YOU CAN ALMOST SEE THROUGH IT!! Please see photos and you can see for yourself! I have NOT seen anything like it before! Here are the measurement and what the set consists of. Teapot with lid measures 5 1/2" tall, 9" handle to spout and 6 deep. Sugar bowl with lid measures 4 1/8" tall, 6 1/4 handle to handle and 4 1/4" deep. Creamer measures 3 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" handle to spout and 3 3/4 deep. Saucers measuring 3/4" tall and 5 3/8" diameter. Cups measuring 2" tall, 4 3/4" handle to rim and 3 3/4 deep. Very good condition and no cracks and u nder two saucers is a few very tiny chips to the little foot base, not noticeable at all and cannot be seen when saucer is upright. Only a very little gold plate missing from a few of the handles of the cups but it is low on the handle and is not noticeable (the worst one is in the last photo and you can see it is not that bad), and one area on the handle of the teapot but it is at the lower base of the handle and could have been made that way.

One cup has a very tiny raised spot inside the cup which is also not noticeable. Few pinpoint black dots underneath the saucers done when made.

None of these things are that bad and this set is in WONDERFUL condition! No maker or identification on any of the pieces. MY PHOTOS DON'T DO THIS SET JUSTICE!! But whomever made this set was a GREAT artist as it is so FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about it!
