A very rare, magnificent John Rose Coalport. Set comprised of noble teapot, creamer, and covered sugar basin, richly decorated in the imari palette. It is a set for the serious collector. The shapes of the knob and masked handles are undoubtedly of the 1810 period.
Teapot : 6.75" tall; 10.75" at widest. Sugar: 6" tall; 6.75" at widest. Creamer: 5" to top of handle; 6" at widest. Some expected wear to gilt; small chip on teapot spout, with associated small hairline; teapot inner base has minor spider hairline--does not show up in photos ; creamer shows crazing on the interio r, and a darkened line; minor edge chips to inner sugar bowl rim--not shown when lid is on.
