Antique c1912 Whiting Engraved Sterling Silver Tea Pot Set Kettle & Stand 71-ozt

  
We are pleased to present an antique, circa 1910s, sterling silver tea pot set by Whiting. It is a hand engraved/incised pattern with the burner holding a 1912 patent date. Tea pot 4752C - 2.5 pints, ivoire insulators, small ding at spout, 8.375 spout to handle, weighs 16.1-ozt (459g).

Kettle 4756C - 3.5 pints, 1 ivoire insulator & 1 old replacement celluloid insulator, 8" spout to back, 8.75" tall to handle, weighs 24-ozt (682g). Stand with burner 4756C - with original unused wick, 6.5" wide at arms, 5.5" tall to arms, 5.375 diameter at base, weighs 12-ozt (374g).

Waste bowl (handled) 4753C - 6" across handles, 3.25" diameter at lip, sits 3 tall, weighs 7.41-ozt (230g). Sugar bowl 4755C - 3.25" diameter at lip, sits 3" tall, weighs 5.31-ozt (165g). Creamer 4754C - 0.75 pints, 5.125" handle to spout, sits 2.875" tall, weighs 6.1-ozt (190g). The total weight is 70.9-ozt (2100g). It is a beautiful antique set.

There are a few light indentations, tough to photograph, in accordance with it age and gentle use. This item is fresh out of a Lowell estate, where it has been wrapped in plastic and boxed in storage since the 1960s.
