AMAZING ANTIQUE FRENCH STERLING SILVER TEA POT SET ROCOCO STYLE. Noblesse Collection propose you through the photos which follow this 3 pieces set richly decorated in a Louis XV style and made in the 1880s.

As you can see this set is a high end making. It was intended for the Parisian upper middle class of the end of the XIXth century.

All pieces are finely carved with a big delicacy. Observe in particular the quality of manufacturing of grips finely engraved. Each piece is decorated on its paunch of one medallion on a face richly decorated with flowers and foliages. Inside of sugar bowl and creamer are in vermeil (fine 18k gold layer on silver). Very ornamental tea set dating more than 130 years old and arriving nowadays in perfect condition!

This set consists of 3 pieces. A tea pot : weight : 758 grams 24,37 troy oz Height : 18,3 cms 7,20 inches.

A sugar bowl : weight : 634 grams 20,38 troy oz Height : 15,8 cms 6,22 inches. A creamer : weight : 242 grams 7,78 troy oz Height : 12,4 cms 4,88 inches. Total weight of the set : 1634 grams 52,53 troy oz. Capacity of tea pot : 125 centiliters 42,26 Us Fluid Oz.

All pieces, lids and grips are stamped with the French Minerve 1st Standard mark (950/1000). All pieces are stamped and signed with the maker's mark : Georges BOIN & Emile TABURET.

They practiced from 1873 till 1901 in Paris, 3 rue Pasquier. They were renowned for their creations of pieces of silversmith's trade of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. They were in particular gold medallists in the Paris universal exhibition in 1889. In perfect condition : Completely checked and cleaned by our silversmith. No bump, no distortion, no sinking.

Lids and handles perfectly fixed. (An "antique statement" of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice). Noblesse Collection is based in Le Mans in France.
