This lot is for (Total 7 items) Satsuma tea set. 1 Tea pot and lid - With 2 small restorations. 2 Tea cups- both have fine hairlines showing only on inner. 1 Creamer milk jug- perfect.

Most All is in great to fair condition.... The only major is a Restoration to the lid of teapot (top dragon jaw only on lid) a restoration of a small rim chip on teapot top and some very fine hairlines showing on inner portions of cups only, all else is fantastic, No Other Issues, nothing is that noticeable, when considering age these sets are synonymous with crazing, it certainly is an aged piece, over 100 years.... Not bad when viewed in this light, please see red arrows showing both restorations and hairlines. The markings are the same on all pieces underneath they carry the Shimazu Family crest and the Matoya period which dates these to Early 20th century, A genuine non replica certainly not as cheap feeling as most lithophane geisha sets, a very thick and heavy feeling porcelain, genuine and period dated.
