On offer is this superb, 3 piece, Art Deco era, sterling silver tea set - comprising a tea pot, creamer/milk jug and sugar basin. All pieces have a panelled body and sit up on 4 bun feet. Each piece is clearly hallmarked. The maker mark of SB & S Ltd (in a shield) is for S Blanckensee & Son Ltd.

The teapot is stamped Sterling, Chester, 1928 (C). The creamer and sugar are stamped Sterling, Birmingham, 1928 (D). All pieces are by the same maker, same year, same pattern but two locations. The teapot height of 14cm at the thumb rest.

s 27cm handle to spout. Large capacity, it holds approx 1.1 litres. The creamer (helmet shape) stands a height of 10cm at the side of the spout. Total sterling weight of 138g. The double handle sugar basin/bowl stands a height of 10.5cm at the top of the handle.

s 15.5cm handle to handle edge. Total sterling weight of 155g. Odd minor surface mark and interiors would require a clean prior to use. Timeless and elegant some 90 years on, always wonderful to find a quality sterling set! Will be sent with end to end tracking for international buyers.
