This set is a rare example of pink, sage green, and white porcelain & jasperware! Tea pot and its lid are glossy. Creamer, sugar & its lid are matte. The victorian style and setting of the raised relief is beautiful in detail. One side of the teapot has a raised relief of one couple dancing while two men play violins.

One side of the teapot has a raised relief of a woman reclining while a man goes to kiss her hand. Another women looks on while playing a guitar like instrument. Another woman approaches holding up what looks like a platter of fruit. A small child is walking by her side holding on to her garment, There are cameo faces decorating the top of the teapot. The creamer & sugar bowl have raised reliefs of victorian styled men & women in various poses of genteel courtship. Both have numbers impressed which are difficult to make out. This set has a beautiful theme of romance with a great attention to detail.
