Up for sale is an authentic antique pre-1888 small tea set from fine sterling silver. An important set special produced for the Imperial Russian market in the period. Set comprising of a tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl. Made by famous Viennese silversmith Josef Carl Klinkosch.
The set is in banded trompe l'oil pattern with banded design. All pieces are marked on bottom with Klinkosch initials used up to 1888 J. K, also double head eagle mark and Austrian silver standard Diana head mark 900/1000. The set is very good preserved with insignificant crack on teapot handle at one isolator. All over very good to excellent for its age.
Very solid and heavy set for its size. Measures: teapot 6.5'' gooseneck to the handle x 4.25'' h. Creamer: 4.25'' x 2.25'' h. And tne sugar bowl 3.5'' diameter x 2''h.Please, be sure to view all. Photos carefully as they are included as part of the item description.
