TEAVANA Tea Set Ceramic Teapot, 4 Teacups, Trivot, 2 Sets of Coasters, and Tray

  

This is an absolute gorgeous TEAVANA Tea Set (from before the time that Starbucks bought them) complete with tray and coasters for an elegant presentation. I have owned this set for nearly 7 years, and have only used it a handful of times. It is time for this set to go to a home where it will be used and appreciated on a regular basis! See below for the condition of each of the items all in excellent/like-new condition!

Everything ships in the original packaging from Teavana. Ceramic Teapot & Teacups: The pot and cups are made with a gorgeous cerulean blue glaze that is slightly textured in appearance, and has a pinkish/purplish hue around the rim of the cups. While there is the appearance of texture to the glaze, all the pieces are smooth to the touch. The set is in the Japanese style and the cups do not have handles.

They are about 3 in diameter. The teapot is about 6 in diameter. The pot includes a wicker handle with a metal core (for stability). Inside the teapot, once you remove the lid, is a tea strainer that sits perfectly in the pot and will hold your loose-leaf teas. This strainer can be removed if desired.

All pieces are dishwasher safe. Trivot and Warmer: Cast-iron trivot with warmer. The trivot can be used independent of the warmer if so desired.

The warmer is designed to hold a tea-light candle within to keep the teapot warm. The top of the warmer features texturing to keep the teapot secure when it is placed on top. I don' t have the exact measurements, but I believe they have about a 6 diameter. Set 1: 4 Cast-iron coasters.

The center of the coaster is cut to perfectly hug the base of the teacups, and the four corners angle up slightly to create visual interest. These measure around 3"x3". Set 2 : 6 Wooden Coasters with shiny finish and Felt bottoms. Zebra-striping pattern of different wood-tones, and a black outer frame to the design on each coaster.

I only ever used 4 of these (as seen in the full service photo); the remaining 2 have always been stored in the box, in the original packaging. These coasters have a storage box made of the same material and design as the coasters themselves. There is a slight flaw in the enamel on the lid of the box (looks like a white splotch - can be seen in the top left corner on the box photo). These measure around 4" x 4". I always used them underneath the cast-iron coasters, so that only the shiny black frame was visible when the service was in use.

Serving Tray: Black lacquerware tray; approximately 16"x10", and sitting on approximately 2 base. This is still in amazing condition and appears like-new.
