ROYAL DOULTON KINGSWARE 3 Pc Set RARE PIED PIPER Teapot Creamer & Sugar Sterling

  
For your consideration, this truly rare and incredible antique set of 3 Royal Doulton Kingsware Pied Piper pottery pieces includes a teapot (with lid) and a creamer & sugar. These bear the work of artist Charles Noke, hired by Royal Doulton in 1899. T he Pied Piper walks among mushrooms, with a beautiful autumnal background and trees. For the Watchers on this set, I had mistaken the Pied Piper as a witch and have split this set from the Warlock jug on 10-3-18 a. My apologies for any inconvenience. All 3 pieces are detailed with sterling silver and each bears the hallmark of Charles Boyton (C B & Son), who started his silversmith business in 1825, London. The teapot is 7" to top of lid X 5.5" from spout to handle X 3 1/8. The creamer is 2 3/8" tall X 4 3/8" handle to handle, the creamer is 3.75" X 3.5" spout to handle. The teapot has a chipped spout and the lid knob had broken and has been re-glued together with a small piece of the pottery missing, please see pics.

There is a shallow glaze chip on the bottom back rim of the sugar bowl. It has been darkened in and is not very noticeable.

NO OTHER cracks or chips. There are a couple of very small areas at the bottom rims of the creamer & sugar where the glaze didn't quite cover the dark pottery. These are NOT chips, and they are smooth. The sterling silver is a little tarnished. Interiors are very clean, no smells.
